Christians (True Born Again only)?

You witness as the Holy Spirit leads you. He will tell you what to say and when to say it.

The best way to witness for Christ is to live according to His laws, you should be an example for others to follow. If you live well, doing for others and try to refrain from sin is one of the best things you can do. Many people judge our faith by those they know that are Christians and unfortunately many come up short so the outsiders think we're all hypocrites. You don't need to be holier than thou to be a good Christian but you do need to stay in the word and depend on God to lead your path.

By your own testimony of what the Lord Jesus has done for you and through the power of the Holy Spirit.

We are ambassadors for Christ as if God were pleading through us.

I believe that it is a combination of both.....Showing the Fruit of the Spirit let's everyone around you know that your Fruit is sweet and loving, which is exemplary of our Father in Heaven...There will be no way to absorb how to become Fruitful and produce good fruit unless you are reading God's word, receiving understanding and becoming more knowledeable and applying it to your everyday life....

It should be both.

Don't forget 2 Tim 2:15

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

And

2 Timothy 4

1I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

2Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

3For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

5But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

Well most people become Christian through the witnessing of others and how God has save them. A lot of people have read the bible, quoting scriptures doesn't really get through to people. Through reference should be made.

It can depend on who you minister to.

We witness as the Spirit moves us. Done in our own strength, it becomes highly ineffectual.

It's questions like this that show how too many Americans are consumed in superstitious nonsense.

Quit trusting the sociopaths who preach this tripe for millions of dollars.
