"Jab, Jab, Grab..", David Haye's assessment on Wladimir Klitchko?

I have to admit, its a pretty good description of Emmanuel Steward's plan for Wlad, I have actually heard him tell him to do that between rounds. So now here is the question. IF David Haye stays on the outside and runs Klit ragged, can he avoid the monstrous shots that knock everyone out. If he doesnt and allows Klit to grab him, can he mount a comparable attack against him on the inside?

Your thoughts, as always I will let you guys grade the answers.

Grabbing is a part of boxing, but I'm no fan of it when it's used in place of defensive boxing. As the victim of the would-be grabbing, it's up to Haye to find methods of coping. I don't think Haye is well-trained to know what to do, which could make for an ugly fight. If Haye reads this post, then perhaps he should heed this advice to defend the jab-jab-grab defense:

The moment Klits goes to smother the counterpunches to the jab-jab-grab, Haye needs to lean in with a left hook to the body, simultaneously putting his forehead into Klit's mouth/nose area. You gots to fight dirt with dirt. Chances are the ref won't call the headbutt, and Haye can claim that Klits is as much to blame for the clash of heads as he is.

Voila! Klits will have to choose between taking butts to the face, or abandoning the jab-and-grab technique.

Talk is cheap, and as difficult as it is for fans to watch, it's almost impossible to get past those jabs because when the opponent tries to work inside Wlad's jab, he grabs them. Just because you can see what Wlad is doing, doesn't mean you can stop him from doing it. If Haye tries to stay outside and out jab Klitschko, I think Haye will lose. The only way to beat Wlad is to KO him, trying to out box a guy with the reach of Klitschko is a tall order. The chink in Wlad's armor is his chin, and to test it, you have to get past the jab and avoid clinch's long enough to land meaningful punches. Nobody though Barkley could out jab Hearns, but it happened, so maybe Haye can to the same. Come fight time we will see if Haye can back up his words with actions..

Yeah it is correct but also works very well. WLad is a boring fighter and doesn't have a lot of moves but he also has one of tehmost powerful jabs out there. at 6'6 245 and with his knowledge of boxing its hard to find a sparring partner to train haye for the difficulty he has to face.

Wlad uses his gifts(reach and height) to his full ability which is something most hard fighters will do. the grabbing is more for the fact that he is taller and has a longer reach making inside fighting impossible.

Haye is going to have to BOX with Wlad and not just try to get that lucky shot.

David Haye is going to pay for his arrogance. It's more than jab, jab, grab, that makes Wladimir's opponents fall to the canvas. Haye may be able to dance around for awhile, but he won't win that way. And if he actually tries to fight Klitchko he's going to get his head taken off. And that's what I hope happens.

from everything that i know about Wladimir Klitchko he is an outstanding fighter that backs up what he does with physical prowess. he trains extremely hard and relentlessly.

i don't know too much about David Haye but I would feel sorry for anyone going up against a boxer of that calibur.

All I can say is that David Haye is one over confident guy, too arrogant for my liking. Heavyweight's gone down the pan now anyway.
