Which Camera fits these requirments?
I am an amateur when it comes to this.
This camera will be my first Good Camera.
I would like a camera that has 10 and over mega pixels
I will require a Good Macro-setting, which im told means the camera must also be able to except a wide range of lenses
I also like Landscape, and Portrait Pictures
Rarely if ever will i have a tripod so image stabilization is a must,
Im not that keen to worry about action shots.
Im not one to want to adjust ISO myself, so I would prefer something with a good auto function. However I still want the option available to adjust.
I have been looking at Canon Rebels and Nikons so far.
This has seemed like comparing apples with apples
I also have a budget of between 300-700 dollars
No kodak, just a personal bias :)

Canon Rebel Xti, or XSi (ebay)
Make sure the XTi has the Image Stabilization lens on the kit. Only newer kits has it.
It would take good (more than fair) macro pictures with it original lens, and you can later add a Canon 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro, that goes around 550$ and go pro with your macro photos.
the original lens also takes good landscape and portrait photos.
Canon is way easier on the settings than the Nikon.

I would suggest Nikon D60 with -55mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S DX VR Nikkor Zoom Lens
10.2-megapixel DX-format
Continuous shooting at 3 fps; Active Dust Reduction System with Airflow Control
It is easy to use and provides excellent images
