iPod Touch 2G Questions?

Question

1) Sometimes my wifi drops, is that normal. Like i let it on standby and then after like 3 ~ 10 min turn it back on and the wifi dropped, but it instantly goes back up
2) Is there a way to keep the back from being scratched?
3) Do you have to have a credit card to buy things from the app store?
4) Can you guys suggest me some good artists because i enjoy some good music but I don't really know where to find out good artists.
5) Are there some headphones you guys can suggest to me not counting the ipod headphones because they suck and i hate them. I've already looked at skullcandy and they look decent but im not sure.
6) Should i buy the warranty for the 2G for the 2nd year?
7) Can you guys suggest to me any good cases for the ipod touch 2G?
8) Should i get the mini battery pack charger for the ipod touch 2G from Keningston, seems like a decent product but i want some straight answers.

1) yes, it is normal. When ur ipod is put into sleep mode, ur ipod automatically tries to save battery life by limiting wifi. that's why ur wifi level drops. sometimes, the connection might be severed.
2) getting a case will keep the back from being scratched, but it's really not worth the money. After u keep it for a while, u just get over it. But, if u still want a case, get a plastic case, not silicon. SIlicon will scratch ur ipod.
3) no, u dont. You can always pay with itunes cards. They sell these at all apple stores and even at costco from time to time.
4) Well, it all depends on what type of music ur into. My "good" artists may be different from ur "good" artists. If u like hiphop, rock, or metal, email me and i'll tell u =]
5) skullcandies are actually really decent for the sub-50 dollar range. I use them when i go to school, cuz i dont want to lose my Shures. Sound quality is also pretty good. Stay away from the cheap skullcandies. They break in 4 months. The 30 dollar in-ears are very nice.
6) Nah, u rly dont need it.

It's useful in the sense that u can slide out the bottom part so u can put it in ur ihome or other sound system. Really useful on my part, since i dont have to take off the case everytime. Any plastic case is rly good, as long as it fits, and is meant for 2g.

8) Sorry, no idea on mini battery packs. But, i rly dont need the extra battery power. My ipod touch goes on for 3 days without recharging.

1)yes when u put it into sleep mode itll disconnect u
just wait like 5 seconds at the lockscreen and let it connect
2)u can buy a case or get an invisible shield or bodyguardz
the back scratches really easily
3)Yes u need a credit card and a itunes acc to buy apps from the appstore
4)u can look at the itunes top songs in the itunes store
5)go on amazon an look at the ratings of the earphones
6)u can if u want but if ur going to hack it then no
