How to get women to understand men?

I am leading a seminar discussion tomorrow about men and masculinity and i want an activity to help the women understand the male perspective. any ideas what i could do?

Update:

i was hoping to think up some sort of role-reversal activity, if anyone has any ideas about that.

Half of the women play men.

    Fire in a building.

Half of them help and allow all the women and children to get past first.

Men and Women are equally different from one another so you would expect equally incomprehensible. However generally women spend more time thinking about relationships. So the generality is that Women understand men better, but generalities do not apply to individuals. I've known women that are clueless as to the inner workings of the male psyche (and think they know a lot). And, I've known men that are quite interested in understanding women and spend the time, ask questions, listen and learn.

Tell them(ladies) to talk less and listen more. You see, when we just listen, we get to find out everything we were so curious about in the first place. Tell them to pay attention to his body language, because he does not think to watch for it. It is the most honest of known to humans communication tool. Be interested in what he has to say, stop paying attention to other people, while having a conversation with him. Men are not that complicated, you just have to pay attention to their way of communication that is all.

Women take little things WAY too seriously.

Men may not be very emotional, but women are TOO emotional. Neither are 'right' when it comes to emotions. Of course, everyone THINKS they're right.

And overanalizing, like the previous question stated, is a problem women seem to have.

Just ask women to try and put themselves in our shoes. How would they act/react under similar circumstances.

Better still, ask them if they had sons, how would they feel if their sons were treated like women normally treat men.

And I'd ask the same of men who routinely or deliberately mistreat women.

I think "Self Made Man" by Norah Vincent might be a great book for your purposes. If you don't have time to pick it up, read some reviews and summaries online.

Talk about how their feelings are usualy expressed with aggresiveness

example :usually men who are stressed become angry

and women who are stressed usually become depressed

So we interperet things wrong sometimes

    or women "read" them wrong

I guess how women overanalyze small things that guys do that women tend to wonder about. sometimes it's just the guy. honestly they are a mystery to me.
