Big Fantasy Baseball Trade:?

Head to Head Categories League: Standard 5x5

I get:

Ryan Howard

Dice-K

4th Round pick

15th Round pick

I give:

Prince Fielder

Roy Oswalt

6th Round pick

Things to consider:

1) Most of my other players that I am keeping hover just below the .300 mark and 1 is above .300 (Howards .BA might still kill me)

2) Fielder is only 24 and has not even come close to realizing his full potential yet

3) Dice-K's injury history

Thanks for the answer if anyone does answer....give points for best answer....from the best answerer in fantasy sports :)

Update:

I'm likely to get 40+ homerun production from Fielder too though? I mean in 2007 he hit 50....and only lost a bit last season due to switching to a vegetarian diet.

Update 2:

Also, the 4th round isnt really the 4th....we have 5 rounds of keepers first....so it's like the 9th....the 11th is the 16th.....the 15th is the 20th....etc.

i would take the trade.....howard's average hurts a bit, but he puts up big homerun numbers and rbi. I also like Dice K better than Oswalt, who is pitching on a bad team and likely wont have the wins that Dice K will have.

I would do the trade. Ryan Howard is also in his prime and both Fielder and Howard hit for lower averages. Fielder also doesn't have the team Howard does which will hurt in statistics I think. Howard over Fielder in every category except average. I still like Dice-K because the BoSox are for real, the Astros aren't. It is tough to give people up before season starts but I think it is a good trade.

Yeah, that was a good pick up. Dice-K's stuff is still nasty when he does pitch and Ryan Howard is a much better power hitter than Fielder will be this year.

wow this is interesting. both pitchers have durability issues from last season. i think oswalt has the edge in being more durable. I do agree howard will kill ur BA but you're likely to get 40+ HR production. Overall since you get the 2 draft picks I would take it.
