So I had a question on the DAT (dental admission test) that asked (in the biology section mind you): What are the two typical forms of energy:

I narrowed it down to one of two choices, Potential and kinetic or heat and chemical. I went with potential/kinetic...is that correct?

For this problem they ask for the position, velocity and acceleration at t = 1.

I know the equations I'm supposed to use, but how do you know when you are supposed to convert the radians to degrees? In the solutions they converted to degrees for solving x, but kept it in radians when solving for v and a? Please explain.

I should have mentioned this is a SHM problem.

When you have an object like a boom with a sign hanging from it and you have to find the tension force in the rope holding the thing up (static)...how do you know that you should treat the boom and the sign that hangs from it as a combined system, and not as seperate objects?

Okay so I recently bought a Samsung LN52B750 (pretty sweet TV), I am hooking up HD cable in the next week or so and am now looking to buy a home theater system. I am deciding between the Energy Take Classic 5.1 and the Klipsch HD 500 (5.1). I've read a bunch of reviews and it sounds like the Energy Take Classic out performed the Klipsch. So i'll probably go with the Energy Take Classic. My question is I'm looking for a receiver and am leaning towards a Yamaha RX-V765. Does anyone have any experience with this reciever or Yamaha's in general....I've never owned a receiver, so I'm pretty new to this.

Also, my TV is 240Hz....do they make receivers with 240Hz capabilities? I've only seen 120Hz?

I just purchased a 125 freshwater tank, and thought it would be cool to have LED moonlights in there. I've seen the lights they sell for saltwater tanks, and they are really expensive. I'm looking for something that is just lunar (LED moonlights) lighting. Does anyone have any suggestions or links to some lights out there that are good quality?

I don't know much about moonlighting for aquariums....I am looking to upgrade to a 125 gallon aquarium (about 6' long), i plan on holding 2 piranhas and a couple other fish that could co-exist with them. Does anyone know anything about moonlighting.....how big should it be for this size tank? are you supposed to run it all day? how long do they last? is it harmful to the fish?

I've never owned an Infiniti, and was wondering if anyone has any advise on what to watchout for regarding G37s? I've owned an Audi TT, and thought it was too rough of a ride, and didn't care for the Quattro....I wore out my tires really quick and didn't wear evenly, causing cabin noise.
