Carlos Quentin or Matt Holliday?

In a straight value comparison Holliday is the obvious choice, but based on draft values I would go with Quentin in the third round. I am skipping Holliday as he might not be worth that first round pick in Oakland's huge home park.

Is this the Same Matt Holliday that led the N L in rbi's in 2007? Is this the same Matt Holliday that stole 27 bases in 2008? What exactly has Carlos Quentin done? Look I know that past stats don't mean jack for the up coming year, but what do you expect Carlos Quentin to do in Chicago? Matt Holliday I believe is only signed for 1 yr in Oakland and is looking to make some phat cash for his next contract.

It has got to be Holliday. This is obvious because quentin is a lucky guy like josh hamilton and edison volquez were. His stats are most likely to lower after his injury and holliday is a better hitter overall. thats why i would pick matt holliday.

I'd rather have Quentin where he is going in drafts(early to late 3rd rounds in 12 team leagues) compared to Holliday(late 1st to mid 2nd rounds).But I would trade Quentin for Holliday straight up..

sure, hunter pence is way needed in ur outfield. Ull take a medium length hit with Paul konerko for fielder. i have had konerko for the purely good 2 years as my first baseman....gained my league. Take the commerce pence is properly worth it.
