Trust means just that ...trust is reliance,faith,assurance.

"Be still and know that I am God" you can refernce this in a concordnance.

Proverbs 3:5 "trust in the Lord with all your heart ( Spirit).

To mysterious ways. There is a scripture that states:

My ways are higher than your ways and My thoughts are Higher than your thouhts....Meaning: We as people may know what the lord is up to but we only see in part, for, He is God and his ways are unsearchable.....I hope this helps.

No and what's interesting is the first thing that came to mind was Abraham questioning God at Genesis 18:23 as to whether God should be "sweeping away the righteous with the unrighteous" as to God destroying Sodom and Gomorrah and telling God it was unthinkable that he would kill the righteous there. Abraham asked God like 3-4 times "are you really going to do this?"

and in the end, God did what Abraham suggested, turns out God was right and there were only 3 people that survived out of those cities, but still he listened to Abraham.

Also Matthew 15:25-27 People that had no dealings with Jews asking for something from Jesus and when Jesus told them that, they questioned him and he indeed give them something.

Also Acts 17 where The Beroean's were considered noble minded because they actually researched EVERYTHING that was told to them instead of taking it face value from the religious leaders..

Last summer the Methodist church had as its adult Sunday School class the theme that Christians must NOT doubt.
