Pregnancy question please?
I am just asking this because I am concerned about my friend, that doesn't mean I agree with her views so please be kind.
I have a friend, she is 20, around 8 weeks pregnant. She has had continuous bleeding for 3 weeks, but her doctors have determined she and the baby are fine. She has decided to terminate her pregnancy within the next few days, but she wanted her bleeding to stop until she terminated it...she explained to her OB that she was getting an abortion and they gave her birth control to stop the bleeding...is that a normal thing for a doctor to do? Even though she is terminating the pregnancy, should they have given her these pills?

Medically that is totally prudent thing to do. So, to answer your question, yes it is fine.

WOW im not a 100% sure but I really don't think giving her birth control was the right thing to do! Taking birth control while you are pregnant WILL give you a miscarriage! if the bleeding isn't really strong she should just wear pads or something if shes getting an abortion within the next few days!

they didn't give her birth control to stop the bleeding they gave it to her because if she starts taking it she will never have to have another abortion... and she should have been taking it in the first place so this pregnancy and abortion that she wants to have would never have happened. She's selfish, killing an innocent baby because of her mistake.

Lots of women are unaware that they are pregnant in the early stages of their pregnancy and continue taking BC until they find out and it has no known effects on bub or mum so this is probably why is has been prescribed. I am absolutely certain that your friend's doctor wouldn't have prescribed something that was a danger to her.

she should not kill the baby what did it ever do to her 8 weeks the baby already has a heart beating and brain waves she should think about that it moves maybe she is killing the next american idol u never know
