Bring it back, or keep it?

My husband bought me Stephen Kings new book for my birthday. He paid full price for it. I can get the 'collectors edition' for 3 dollars more than he paid for the regular copy.

I have not seen the collectors edition to see the difference between the two books, (cost is 12$$ tho.)

He knows I would rather have the collectors edition, and has told me to bring the other one back.................here's my question.........................do I exchange it?, or do I wait and hope to get the collectors edition 2?

I'm feeling kinda........................I don't know which way to go:):):) not really guilty, but, well maybe, sorta a little guilt.

I am a HUGE SK fan. Have ALL his books (hardcover), and working on getting all the movies.

Update:

:) don't like koontz.

never heard of sigler???

Update 2:

haven't done flowers in years. can't keep em:):):)

Go ahead and exchange it. He knows how you are -- he married you, after all. He probably wasn't aware the collectors edition was available when he bought it.

Exchange the book so you husband can buy some Scott Sigler or Dean Koontz book you haven't already read.

Or just tell your husband you want both instead of flowers since it would cost less for two books.

I liked the Odd Thomas books and you can listen to Sigler's books free.(then buy the paper or kindle version if you like it) I 've seen the movies based on King's books but I haven't read or listened to a novel yet. I have one on CD for next weeks commute.

Well its up to you if hes really sensitive then Id say just keep the book :/ If you know he won't really care and that you loved it but you just wanted the collectors then just go ahead and do it
