How many Christmas events are you attending?

Not many this year. We usually have three Christmas dinners (my Mom's family, my Dad's family, and we host my wife's family Christmas Day) and then there are the office parties and the get-togethers thrown by friends and co-workers. This year I have to do my Reserve duty next week and the week after, so I'm going to miss a lot of them. As it stands right now, we're still hosting my wife's family for Christmas Day, but that's about it. The only other thing we want to do is go to Hines Park at night and see the light displays...

19 parties about 2 a day all this month im just going for the free food

none really. i'd love to go downtown(chicago) and see the windows, check out the kris kindle market. i know those aren't events but they're something to do.

unfortunately, my husband isn't much of a do-er and i don't know my way around the city very well.

1 so far.

But i'll probably have more things to go to soon, since there is still 24 days till Christmas
