Email address for police station in Rome?

Question

I left my camera in a gelato bar late at night in Rome, but only realised the next morning when I had to fly out to Thailand.  I know my chances of getting it back are minimal, but the people working in the bar were very friendly and we were the only customers there at that time, so I would hate to think they found the camera and I didn't try to get it back.  I don't remember the name of the place (it was just one of those small places off a side street near the Trevi Fountain) but does anyone know if there is an email address for the police station, where I can check if it was handed in?  I'm not naiive enough to expect that would happen in a city where pickpocketing and thefts are rife, but it would surely be worth a try if there is a way.

Hi! I'm Italian, I'll try to help you, even if you should remember something more about the gelato bar.
I recommend you to contact Carabinieri more than Police, as they have more stations.
