With today being the anniversary of Nirvana's Nevermind, do you think that they have become overrated?

Yeah they were a excellent band, but I think there is to much airplay on the radio station I listen to, but still I kind of think they are a bit overrated. So reasons why you think they are or aren't overrated, and if I do agree with your answer I will pick it, plain and simple, just give a reason.

I think I know what station you are talking about, but I don't think they have become overrated. People that act like they know everything about them have made them seem overrated.

I think Kurt Cobain is overrated but not Nirvana.

They were one of the most influential alternative rock bands of the 90's.

I think they are NOT overrated at all. Due to their music, I see no need to give reasons...just a really good band with great music that I still listen to today!

Yeah. They came along at a time the hair bands had made rock stale. I always felt there were better bands and Dave Grohl has gone on to do excellent work.

no way drugs have stolen to many like Kurt Cobain from us. i was a just a kid in the ghetto when i discovered nirvana. i under stood his music and began to try to write my stories of my depression and soul searching.

maybe if we pulled all of the troops away from iraq and put them along the us and canadian borders instead of the corrupt DEA, ATF and U.S.customs agents we would have the drug problems that we have now and maybe Kurt would still be here.
