McCain is a McCan but won't on soluting the flag?
What do you think about the footage of McCain saluting after he left the Vietnam Prison. One of his main sympathy pleas is that due to his imprisonment he cannot salute the flag of the country that he loves dearly,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
I am starting to "THINK" that this has just been another MC-LIE.

Are you kidding me? Why don't you read this and maybe you will stop being a hypocrite:
According to the United States Code,Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171, during rendition of the national anthem when the flag is displayed, all present, except those in uniform, are expected to remove headgear, stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. Those in uniform are to stand at attention and present a military salute.
Obama (in his own words) why he won't salute the flag:
'As I've said about the flag pin, I don't want to be perceived as taking sides,' Obama said. 'There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression. And the anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all. It should be swapped for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song, 'I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing.' If that were our anthem, then I might salute it.'

"Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel". Forget the flag and saluting and pledges of allegiance etc. Wrapping oneself in the flag does not make one a good person. It just detracts from the real issues. I don't like McCain because of his policies, not for his ability or inability to salute.

I don't know, but do you think it is possible that his medical condition has deteriorated through the years? The older I get the less agile I am. By the way, I don't care that Obama does not wear a flag lapel pin. Both are non issues.

Can't you tell by the way he moves his arms that they are severely limited in range of motion? Most especially his right one.
