The ozone hole was a threat in the 1970's, the appropriate steps were taken internationally, the hole began to close as was hoped. It should be entirely closed in another decade or so. I'm not sure what your point is supposed to be. It's a good example of how humans can cause a global problem. It's also a good example of how they can solve a global problem, if they act within their window of opportunity.

I have found that most people do not know the difference between an active vulcano and an eruption! They are totally different and it is the active vulcano that is making over 96% of our greenhouse gases! The CO2 and SO2 problem is very much do to these undersea and above ground active vulcanoes. Mostly, the scare about greenhouse gas is two fold.. it is political and it is a coverup! We learn that when we research the facts, such as.. Mt.
