If your dog licks another dog's face, is that "rude" in dog behavior. Someone told me that yesterday.

I'm pretty sure that dogs will only lick another dog if they see it as dominant. I think.....

I would rather my dog lick another dog's face than their behind. To me that is rude!

No, not at all. It may even be a sign of affection. My two golden retreievers (Buddy and Max) lick eachother all the time.. especially if one of them is sad to cheer them up! And my little doggie Cruiser licks the big guys noses when they come say hello. It is adorable. You can even teach to do it on command. Say "kisses" when they do it and give them lots of lovin and attention .. maybe even a treat. and over time they will learn that "kisses" means to lick the others nose and that its ADORABLE! haha

no it's a sign of submission to a dominant dog. Whoever told you this, has no idea of what dog behavior is.
