If you could pick any song for each American Idol contestant to perform,what would you want to hear them sing?

Here's my choices...

MICHAEL - "House Of The Rising Sun" (The Animals)

DAVID H - "We Gotta Get Out Of This Place"(The Animals)

DAVID C - "Paint It Black" (The Rolling Stones)

AMANDA - "I'm The Only One" (Melissa Etheridge) or

"Don't You Want Somebody To Love?" (Jefferson Airplane)

BROOKE- "Big Yellow Taxi" (Joni Mitchell) or

"You Were Meant For Me" (Jewel)

CARLY - "Bring Me To Life" (Evanescence) or

"Beautiful" (Christina Aguilera)

RAMIELE - "Reflection" (Christina Aguilera)

DAVID A - "Everything I Do (I Do It For You)" (Bryan Adams)

DANNY - "Bohemian Rhapsody" (Queen)

JASON C - "No Woman, No Cry" (Bob Marley)

CHIZEZIE - "Ain't No Sunshine When She's Gone" (Bill Withers)

SYESHA - "Proud Mary" (Ike & Tina Turner)

Update:

arizona's brook - I agree, "Lithium" would be better for Carly. At first, I was thinking "My Immortal", but it's kind of slow and wouldn't really show off her vocals, but "Lithium" would be perfect for her. And I guess "Open Arms" does suit Danny better than Luke, so I'll give Danny that song and give Luke George Michael's version of "I Can't Make You Love Me"

rinidie - I guess "Because You Loved Me is a better choice for Kady. She does have a Celine Dion quality to her voice, but "Power Of Love" is a BIG song and we already saw what happened when Asia'h attempted "All By Myself" (Simon's response, at least). But I think Kady could pull off "Because You Loved Me" and I think it's better suited for her vocal style too.

    I dont think Carly should sing Beautiful, or that Danny should sing Bohemian Raphsody [but another Queen song would be nice...=]], or that Luke should sing Open Arms...I am totally agreeing on Chikezie's and Ramiele's and Carly's Bring Me To Life..the other ones are okay...[they all have amazing talent, but the above song choices are okay..]

    You read my mind for Ramiele, Syesha, and David Cook. I always pictured David Archuleta doing a Beatles song, and he sort of fulfilled that this week. I really like your choice for him, too. I also always pictured him singing a song like "I Want It That Way" or "This I Promise You" by the Backstreet Boys or NSYNC. I don't know why. He's good at everything he sings.
