With current rosters, would you want your fav. team to sign your fav. player?

Question

This question only makes sense if your favorite player is not actually on your favorite team... such as myself.  

I'm a Toronto Raptors fan, but my favorite player is Baron Davis (of GS Warriors).  With the current roster the Raptors have, and if Baron Davis became a free agent, I actually wouldn't want the Raps to sign him.  

Some reasons are that Davis seems to play better with athletic guys around him (which the Raps dont have)... he frequently jacks up some questionable shot selections... he's sorta injury prone... etc.

So Baron Davis may be my favorite player, but I wouldn't want my favorite team, the Raptors, to sign him.  Obviously, if the Raptors had a different style of game that fit Baron Davis better, I would love it.  But with the current rosters, and with wanting the best for both the team and player, I wouldn't want it.

Seems like most people think it would obviously be great if their fav. player and fav. team hooked up, but do you?

I too am a Raptors fan, so if we could get anybody remotely as talented as Baron Davis I would be excited. The Raptors seem to play more like a team than other franchises. Most other teams are 5 + the rest. Sam Mitchell does a great job of switching guys around so I think that it system that some players might not embrace well. 

But of course I would be glad to see my favourite player playing for my favourite team. Then I only have to watch one game. Hahah.

Im a Mavericks fan and I would live to have Lebron James or Carmelo Anthony on my team for Dirk Nowitzki.

I'm a lakers fan and we already have kobe but if i wanted someone else, i would probably want kevin garnett to start along with kobe.
