You're on the computer... what brand are you using?

If you're reading this, you are probably on a computer/laptop...

... so I was wondering what brand of computer do most Yahoo! Answers people use or have... Dell? HP/Compaq? IBM? Toshiba? Sony VAIO? Others...?

    I use Dell and have for years with very good luck. Siemens is a huge company but I am not familiar with that model. While I see your point, I think you jumped the gun since you don't even have it in hand yet. How do you plan on using it? Internet, graphics, WOW? Most computers these day are loaded with RAM, have a fast processor and giant hard drive plus good audio. So don't sweat the small stuff.

    I am on one that my 17 year old built for me from scratch. We went to Comp USA and picked out all the components. I was "ify" but it actually works! Only trouble is I'm using fedora which I'm not familiar with. If I want windows it's going to cost me another $100.
