Hey Mike,
You want her back? Here's what you do. First you have to "Get Happy". I know this is the tough part, but you have to pick your butt up and go work out, visit friends and family, find a new hobby that scares the hell out of you, somthing that will get some adrenalin going.
The second thing you do is stop pressuring her. Don't criticize, complain, or whine. No woman ever leaves a man that's happy and confident. She leaves the man that pressures her to make him happy. That's asking alot.
The third thing you do is agree with anything your mate does or says. I mean absolutley anything. Do not defend yourself. This will ease her tension and make it eaier for you to be around.
The fourth thing you do is act (even if it is an act) perfectly happy with the status quo. Enyoy your space and freedom. Show her that you prefer her, but don't need her. Needing her puts too much pressure on her. The more you persue her, the more she'll have contempt for you.
The following is a list of things never to do:
1. Don't reassure her that you can change. All that says to her is that you're trying to change her mind. Accept that you were an a..hole and keep your mouth shut.
2. Don't tell her you love her. That's just going to make her roll her eyes. Just act happy around her.
3.Don't be pessamistic or sarcastic...that's not attractive.
If you follow these rules, she'll come back...guaranteed.
Oh I almost forgot. Even if you don't want to, you have to date other women. This will make you happier right now, it will show her that she could lose you, it will show that you are a marketable guy.
You have to stay consistent with these actions....always. It may take three weeks, or six months, but she'll come backl!
Get happy Mike!

I have been alone for 10 years and it still hurts just as bad as the day I caught my ex cheating on me. For some people it gets easier. For some I suppose it never does. In truth I'd rather just die. The world does not need me, it will be fine. I have sought help for this countless times. She was my first girlfriend and my last. I know people want to tell you man up... an crap like that. It just isn't a choice. The heart wants what the Heart wants Period. I hope you can get over or back with her and you do not end up like me. My only suggestion is keep telling yourself you'll find someone else or if it seems possible, you'll get back together with her. Pretend to be happy. Happiness attracts. Best of luck to you.

Sometimes people don't realize what they have until it is gone. My husband treats me like garbage and I don't understand why. I take care of him, keep a clean house, have a degree, am about to have a baby boy which he has always wanted, and have been told I am very attractive. I love him with all my heart but have thought about leaving because it has gotten so bad.
The best advice I can give you if you know your relationship will not work is to get out of the house. Staying inside and dwelling on things will only make you feel worse. Go to a movie, go shopping, take a walk, etc. As hard as it may seem, try to surround yourself with people that can distract you from dwelling on your relationship.

We always want what we lost, when it was our fault. It is called remorse.
Do you really love her, or do you just want her back? Relationships end for a reason. Were you happy back then? You say you were not a good husband, was there a reason for that?
I have had the pain of divorce. I had to come to grips that it was over. It was the hardest, but best thing ever in my life. I found ME. I really could not define myself before my divorce. Take some time and work on you. Maybe she will notice the new you and want you back. Maybe you will find the someone you were supposed to be with all along. Good Luck, I know it is hard, but it is worth the journey.

Well since you said you were not a good husband and it was bad enough for her to dump you then I guess you'll just have to man up and deal.
It takes awhile for this type of heart ache to work through and maybe yours is complicated by your guilt.
When you die you take you with you so that does not sound like a solution to me. Actually you probably want the pain to stop not your life. Stay in therapy. Good luck

Bottom line.......
Turn yourself into someone that she would like to be with. Start putting all of that (poor me my wife is gone) energy into a positive. Keep busy by doing something that will better your life. Volunteering is the best therapy there is and it is free. Not too long from now you will have a whole new outlook onlife and you may not even want her back.
oh yes apologize from the bottom of your heart with out actually needing her to forgive you. It is your burden not hers.

Texting lets you control the tone and establish what kind of conversation you want to have. Learn here https://tr.im/6Rtoy
This is probably the most important part. With texting, you can stop and think about what you want to say to your ex at each step of the way. Instead of reacting emotionally, you can take your time, figure out the right thing to say (I’ll give you most of it), and be strategic with your ex without saying something that you’ll regret.
