Dogs and Chlorine?
What will happen if my dog goes in my pool there is chlorine in there?

Its the same with my dog. she loves the pool and likes it when we splash her. but drinking the water can be fatal. the chlorine in your pool is there to kill algae and stuff. it'll poison your pooch. its ok for the dog to swim just dont let it drink it.

Yes. Not enough to hurt them. There's chlorine in tap water too. Just make sure he can get out and never leave a dog unattended near a pool.

If the amount of chlorine is right should not be a problem. If you do not know how much is in it ask to somebody who knows before you let your best friend goes in it.

I've had dogs my whole life, and have had a pool my whole life- the dogs go in every day in the summer and are fine- I would just keep an eye on them if they aren't used to it- and if it makes you feel better rinse them off with a hose when done- but it is not needed.

i doubt anythin will happen..my aunt had a dog that loved to swim with the family..she(the dog) always seemed to be ok with the water..never got sick or anythin.
