Caffeine has the tendency to speed up the chemical reactions in the human body and make alertness at its peak. When the chemical reactions going on inside your body go too fast it can sometimes tire the organs or make them develop fatty tissues inside them which can eventually lead to organ failure... Since the kidney is an organ that helps in waste materials it is already overworked as it is. Therefore, caffeine overworks the kidneys and in excess leads to kidney failure. I hope this will help somewhat...

The first thing is that caffeine is a diuretic. If you search information on diuretics than you can have a great project. You could compare a caffeine and caffeine free drink and see how often somebody would have to go to the bathroom.
