How cold can car AC get?

At least this cold...

http://home.comcast.net/~genericdad/ac_.jpg

Picture taken this morning, 70-deg F outside temp.

Update:

And before anyone gets smat, yes that is 24.1 degrees F. The meter was still dropping when I took the shot. Vehicle is 9 years old and has never had the AC recharged.

Update 2:

I live in Minnesota, the land of humidity, although it is rather nice out today.

    That's cool.

    Pun intended.

You must live in Arizona, New Mexico, or somewhere with very low humidity.

On any given day ,Yes the temperature can reach below freezing , However if you have not checked your A/C the Freon may be about gone , That is why it is getting cold the Freon is thinning out , Be careful.
