Which has better SQ out of these???? RF, Kicker, RE?

I want to push 4 15" subs in a ported box. SPL is important, but I would like some SQ. Out of the Solo L7's, RE SX's, and Rockford T215's, which offers a lot of SPL and the best SQ of the three. I know you can't have a lot of both, but one of three must offer a little more than the other two.

Well now that you have added the RE's in there now my choice would have to change.

RE FTW! whoever said that ported wasen't for SQ needs to learn a little more about boxes... not trying to sound like a dick but ported can sound just as good as sealed.

RE is a very good company but for the price you might want to look into Fi, the subs are basicly the samething just with a different name. One of RE's engineers named Scott Atwell started Fi so you are getting the same quality woofers as RE but for a lot lower price.

I have a couple different Fi models and after playing with them you probably won't see me going back to kicker anytime soon for subs. I have the BL's and the SSD's and I will vouch for both of them saying how great they are. A friend of mine has the Q's and they are an awesome sub also.

you should look into them www.ficaraudio.com

From what I've heard, Kicker L7 can have enough resolution for SQ, I've used it several times in a SQ competing car with good result, but usually I go with 10" or 12", I haven't tried the 15", but I think they'll be OK. If you want the SQ ultimate subs (but can still hit hard), try JL Audio's 12W7 and Infinity Kappa Perfect 12, or if you have the budget, the ultimate is the Cervin Vega Stroker 15, yes they will cost you up to $2000 each, but properly installed, no subs can compare.

I'm also quite concern about your choice of installation, 4 15" will be very loud, and SQ is not only about good bass but also balance between frequencies, your mid-high up front won't be able to balance the volume of your subs. Plus, you won't be able to hear and enjoy the music at 140dB, it will hurts the hearing. My suggestion is to install a 12" high quality sub to enjoy regular music in 'SQ Mode', and switch the 4 15" on if you want to wake the entire block. Don't worry about the ported box though, as long as you tune the right, it will have a flat response desired for SQ, with the low extension better than any sealed box.

That's what I have in my car, an 8" at the front for the mid-bass, a 12" at the back for the earth-shaking notes, and 2 x 18", 2400W pro subwoofers to do the dirty job when I'm on the mood.

You said ported box? Say goodbye to SQ, at least in a broad freq. range. Ported boxes are only good for SPL for the specifically tuned freq. -not a good thing for SQ.

If you want SQ in a ported box, no of these will work. Now, for SPL, Kicker is the way to go.

Kicker holds more SPL record than any other brand. 75% of all world SPL comps, actually. They do, in fact, know how to live loud. Plus the L7's make me wet.

    Good Luck!

If you are going for pure SPL, Rockford Fosgate is a good choice. If you are going more for Sound Quality, I would go with Kicker. I'm not as familiar with RE.

For the ultimate in both SPL and SQ, I would go with the Image Dynamics IDMAX line.

rockfords should give u both at least they do for me. For just pure SQ u would have to buy kenwood woofers, as I have heard do not know if it is true. good luck though!!!!

i'd say the RE audio will give you the best of both worlds.
