15" Solo baric L7 vs T215 Kicker VS Rockford?

I want some major SPL, with some great quality in the product itself. I want 4 15" subs, what should I go with, the rockford T215 or Kicker solo baric L7's.

These questions are way more difficult to answer then you might think..... SPL wise the kicker owns the RF, 70% of winning competitors are running kicker for a reason, because they get nasty loud!

Then you also want SQ... well Grand Master SQ Cory Himel runs kicker so I guess they sound great too....

I am taking a guess but do you know where I am going with this?

Thats right.... I would say the kicker!

    Stats don't lie

Don't get pioneer subs.... they sound like sh**

Running four sub can be quite tricky. If each sub required at the minimum 1 cu.ft. of enclosure space, your now talking at least 4 cu.ft. Hope you have room.

In either choice, quality and SPL don't usually go hand in hand.

It all boils down to choice and what you like. Listen to both in action and this will make it easier for you to decide. What I like (or anybody else likes) may not be what you like.

If your total system power is more than 1000 watts RMS you will need to:

    1. Upgrade the alternator to a high output alternator

    2. Upgrade to a heavy duty deep cycle battery

    3. Upgrade the "Big 3" - that is to replace the power wire between the battery and alternator and the ground strap.

Failure to do this will result in you replacing them anyway as the alternator will eventually fail.

Here is a guide that will calculate what size alternator and power wires you need http://www.datafilehost.com/download.php?file=6d26...

You'll need Microsft Excel to use it.

Pioneers would be a waste of money. That claim is rediculous. -Must have been measured with a 'Boom Stick', LOL.

Kicker holds more SPL records than any other brand. I heard 75%. Oh, well.

Those L7's are made to be played. Kicker knows how to live loud.

    That's my $.02.

    Good Luck!

the only reason the L7 exists is to get really really loud. they don't sound that bad (i had a pair of 10") but they don't sound that good but they do put out, and do win comps. if all you want is volume that will make you retarded or go flatline, then go for the kickers. FOUR!?!?!? better get some plexiglass, i'd say bout 1/2" thick. throw 3 to 4KW RMS at 'em an you'll be happy. and the speakers will be happy to fulfill their destiny . . .

huh. well, outta those 2 i'd go with the Rockfords. they have more x-mas. but if it were me going for all out SPL i'd go with a Pioneer Premier TS-W5102SPL. its the SPL world record holder. i'd get 2 of them, and if that wasnt enough kick it up to 3 or 4. i'd also recomend looking into RE Audio's XXX.

    good luck
