Sound Dampening?
I know the big brand Dynamat. I have been happy with them on my previous vehicle. Has anyone tried any other company that makes sound dampening stuff that is as good as Dynamat? For little things, Dynamat is fine, but in my new truck, it will probably cost me a chunk of change to do the entire truck pretty much.

One of my good friends suggested this stuff called Road Kill. He said its a little bit more money than Dynamat, but it works a helluva lot better than Dynamat. Thats probably what I'm gonna get when i do my trunk in my car, but I have to look into where to get the stuff, since I don't know where!
Good luck!

all i know is my buddy used fatmat (cheaper stuff) and a week later it was just falling off on its own in 90 degree temperatures. i would strongly suggest using the dynamat spray perhaps, i used the dynamat kit, then used the spray in all the cracks of my car. good luck!!

if you're looking for good quality and a low price, go to home depot and look for pipe insulation. it isnt as thick as dynamat, but for the price you can tripple the layers and still come out cheaper than one layer of dy. its about $17 for a big chunk. double layering it is thicker than one layer of dyn extreme. it works pretty well. it is made for the same thing as dy; sound dampening and heat resistance.

All it does is keep the noise in, instead of you hearing it outside, which can make it slightly louder, but its a joke.
