The genealogy is given in the Bible. Through both parents. Matthew gives the genealogy through Joseph and Luke gives the genealogy through Mary. Luke was a Doctor and I (others too) feel Mary's physician, after hearing her story of pregnancy and Luke knowing scripture, I assume he did a little checking to verify Jesus coming through the Line of King David as foretold. This is interesting too, because in the Line of Joseph is Jeconiah (Jehoiachin; Jeremiah 22:24-30). So, another reason Mary's genealogy is VERY important! ;-)

If you are talking about his family tree we can absolutely trace his genealogy back to Adam and Eve. If you are talking about his offspring He has no blood genealogy but if you believe in Him you will be adopted by the King. This gives you all the birth rights of blood relatives an d everlasting life.

From a scientific perspective, probably not. For whatever reason, no genetic data or proof of offspring exists.
His geneology is traced in the beginning of the New Testament, but that can hardly be taken as the word of God...
Oh wait, I guess it kinda can.

if you track the lineage from King Davids family I'm sure you'll find it. The bible is a good place to start. If you don't believe what the bible says then check it our for yourself.
