I have a can of "Tree Seal" that needs to be thinned. what can I use?

Can I use water or some other solvent? The material used to be made by Morrisons Orchard Supply Co. but they appear to be no longer in business.

Most all types are water based latex or acrylic. Water should be fine. I keep just a small bottle of latex paint in my garden for this purpose. With heat and age it becomes thick. In general any latex or acrylic paint will do the job for you. God bless
