• Having a bath with a fresh tattoo ?

  Is it OK to have a hotnbath with a fresh tattoo if I don't submerge the tattoo in the water (my tattoo is on my arm) or will the steaminess of the bath be bad for the tattoo anyway?

• Why does my gf got mostly forearm & wrist tattoos? But no where else? It is kind of unattractive ?

  So my girlfriend she’s a tattoo artist . She’s 21. 

  She didn’t start getting tattoos till she turned 18. So I see that she got tattoos that is cover with two on her right forearm including her wrist. Then on the left one on the forearm . She just booked one of her all time fav tattoo artist to get “WARR;OR” with a crown. It’s going to be a medium size tattoo but on her upper left arm the inside. 

  But she only got one tattoo on her chest on the right that says loyalty. Then one on her left upper arm on her shoulder saying self love with a rose.

  But like I don’t know to me I find it unattractive how she just wanna cover her arms mostly . I’ve asked her for the reason for her doing her forearms mostly, she doesn’t talk about it. All she says “it helps me” that’s it. Where she’s getting her new one that she just booked. She’s putting it where I see 3-4 scars that look old.. since she’s a tattoo artist I thought she would know that idk if a artist can but tattoo over a scar. 

  When she was 18 she got 3 tattoos that were all a month apart. Then got another one recently. 

  Does she just like tattoos or some. But she don’t even tell me the meaning behind them. I’m assuming she just getting it to get them

• Can I practice with India Ink?

  So I’ve recently (very recently) gotten into tattooing. I have my machine and the needles and everything, but the rest of my package is apparently coming from overseas, so I don’t have my ink yet! I really wanna start using my machine though! I have the fake silicone skin, and the stencils, so I’m wondering if I can use India ink? (Please don’t tell me “don’t use India ink on skin!” I’m aware of this, and I’m not planning to use it on skin, Only silicone!)

• Is my tattoo ok?

  I just got my first tattoo yesterday (April 14th) in red ink and got it covered with saniderm. As I was driving home I was leaking red ink/blood. It had stopped when I got home. The next evening I noticed a big red patch cracking patch near the “r” of the tattoo ( it’s spells Shaldreta) which kinda looks like a scab and my skin around the whole tattoo looks like it’s cracking. Is this normal when using saniderm? I have to keep this on untill Sunday, then I can take it off and clean it. I just want to know if everything looks ok. Thanks

• Did something go wrong with my 2 years microblading touch up?

  Just to give more details. I had my eyebrows microbladed 2 years ago and was due for a touch up. I had them touched up on Tuesday and  by Saturday my eyebrows started to peel off slightly. On Sunday I decided to stop using face wipe (I was still cleaning my eyebrows as instructed with water and q tip and the ointment). I washed my face avoiding the brows and once I was done and patted them dry used the ointment too.  My brows seemed to start scabbing really fast and fell off leaving the skin there very light, lighter than my natural skin color(I am dark skin) see attached photo. It looks like a visible fresh wound. I didnt peel them off. They seemed to start peeling off after I washed my face under water. The skin there has no pigment at all and seems like a pale/pinkish color. Again I am very dark skin and this only happens to my skin when a wound is healing. I spoke with the lady that got them done and she said it was premature peeling from me not cleaning them properly and the lymph fluid built up and caused it to dry quickly. FYI- I did clean it every 3 hrs.

• What if I regret my tattoo?

  I am not planning on getting a tattoo anytime soon, but I'd like to get one someday. I'd want it to be really small and something that is very meaningful. I have a couple ideas (1 I've been liking for about 6 months). My parents don't care either way as long as it's what I truly want - my dad actually has tattoos so it's not like they both can't let me get one!

  I'm just worried if I'll regret my tattoo (even if it's small) since I change my mind often and go through mini phases. Also my dad says that he sometimes likes his tattoos but other days he sometimes regrets getting them. So, how did you guys decide that this tattoo was really for you? Have you ever dealt with regret?
