My fiance and I have been looking to buy a house soon. We were thinking to take the next year to save up as much as possible. Then, a family friend came along and they are selling their property. They were going to put the property up for 130k, but if we are interested and willing they are willing to sell it to us for the 130k but then turn around and give us 10k back to put towards the down payment. We were thinking of a FHA loan (we are qualified for it), which means we would still be required to come up with 3.5% ourselves, which we can do easily because our tax return. The house has a roof that was new within the past 5 years, a new paint job outside, new water heater, nice hardware floors, brand new paint inside and on the one car garage, brand new kitchen tile floor, brand new sidewalks outside, newer flat wooden deck outside and comes with all appliances. This is an area we will be staying in indefinitely and right now our rent is 1100. We make almost 60k before taxes with about $490 debt/month (cards, student loans). He wants to sell as soon as possible (it was a family members house who passed away). We can come up with the 3.5% we need to put down but I am unsure about the closing costs, etc. What other fees would I have to pay on top of that 3.5% and about how much would I have to come up with. If we do go with the FHA loan the closing costs cannot be rolled into the mortgage.

I have an old German Bible, dated 1807. The cover is leather (worn, but for the year still in good condition), there are small leather straps (maybe an inch) and metal clasps that hook onto the front cover to keep the Bible closed. The Bible's pages are in great condition, you can read all of it, there are no water stains (probably because the cover is tightly shut) and there are no major tears, etc. I was wondering how much this may be worth, if anything, or where I could go to have it appraised?

Alright. My boyfriend came up to me a bit ago and said that his mom had asked him to use a ring that she had been given to give me when he proposes. He was smart and asked me about it first and even showed me a picture of the ring. I know that her heart is in the right place but I really do not feel comfortable with having this ring and also I do not like it. It isn't ugly at all it just isn't what I always imagined having. Is it wrong to have him tell her no?

If they do how much is it off and what is it eligible on?

I am trying to merge a picture that I pasted into Word with a WordArt phrase that I added. I already have them on top of each other but when I go to hit Crl and select both it will not let me so I cannot hit the merge button. Also, I want to make this into a picture file how can I do that? Please help!

Ok I am trying to find a spot to set up an online store for clothing. It is just small and I won't have a million pieces I just want to see if I can get something started. I also sell on ebay so I wanted to try and get my customers from there to go onto my page. I do not want an Ebay Store, I want my own page to show what I have. I saw a cute one that was at blogcatalog but I don't know how they got it to look like that. Help!

Hello. I have been trying to find a place to find cheaper clothes that are cute, esp for summer. I have been looking and found the three sites that I have mentioned. CCT.com has such cute clothes but I heard that the quality is awful. I heard some better things about the quality of the other two. I just wanted to know about people's experiences before I bought. I was wondering if you can play any of the Sims games for the NEW PS3 slim? I was under the impression that you could but when I went to GameStop today they said that on the NEW PS3 you cannot play almost any of the old PS2 games because they didn't include something in the new PS3

I was wondering about some other sites that were similar to ModCloth. I looked at some of the other sites that people recommended and I really didn't like them (ie FredFlare, etc). I do not think these are anywhere near the same quality of clothes. I know ModCloth is somewhat expensive but the cut and style and fabric of their dresses seem a lot nicer. I am more interested in dresses then anything else. I love the style of ModCloth, but their dresses are never in stock! Please Help!

I am 5'0 - 5'1 and usually a size 5 or so. My biggest problem is to find jeans/pants that actually fit since I am short with hips. If I can find a jean that fits perfect at the waist then it is way to long (I mean long enough you can't hem it) but if I find a jean that is the perfect fit from my knee down it is just a little too tight (I refuse to have that muffin top look ew!). The best jeans I have found so far are Charlotte Russe petite jeans but even these really change from style to style. If you could give me any advice or other stores to check out that would be awesome!
