I'm fairly certain there is a term for this area, it should include any animal with two-tone fur. If I hear the term I should recognize it.

I have a Siemens SpeedStream 4200 modem and I can't find out the ip for the Configuration page.

I don't know what else to try. My ISP is Bell if it matters. I don't know why 10.1.1.1 wouldn't work because it wasn't ever changed afaik. Is there any method of obtaining the modem's IP?

Note: I am not trying to get to my router's config page, I have access to it already (192.168.10.1)Also I've searched around and lots of questions about this only get answers for the ROUTER page's IP by finding it through CMD. Please refrain from posting these answers as they will be no help to me. I'd also like to avoid having to reset my modem.

I have a TrendNet TEW-652BRP model router and after every few days of the router being on, the router page will stop working. It will just load for an awfully long time and if I leave it there it will load some of the images for the login but some are missing and don't load. If I try to login it just will load for another long while and then it will tell me it failed to load the webpage.

Now if I reset my router then the page will work instantly; take a fraction of a second once you hit enter. I don't understand this, I don't want to reset my router just to use my router page and when I do want to use it then I most likely want to check the connected devices but that is reset if I reset the router so.... :/

I want to know why it does this and if there is any fix for it.

Ok so I got my PS3 back in 2009 so the warranty is gone. It's a regular slim model 250GB. Anyway when ever I turn it on it will try to start reading the disc as usual but starting about a month ago it started to try and read the disc, stop for a second then try again until it works. It usually does it 20 times or more before it works. Today I heard it actually eject the disc and suck it back in so it could retry it again because It wasn't reading it (the disc didn't actually fully eject though it sucked it back early). Also I only have 3 disc based games for my PS3 and I rarely ever take the disc out so why is it doing this? Calling Sony to fix it is my last resort so I'd like to know any other options I have.

Ok so a little over a day ago I activated an RBC Visa Prepaid Card and it still says on www.myrbccardbalance.com that the balance is $0.00 No transactions have been made and the card holds $25 How come the balance wont go up? The card has not expired.

Okay so today I redeemed all my codes for 1 of my Wii's, multiple games and my DSi on Club Nintendo and achieved Platinum status for all the points I collected for registering my systems. I didn't really know what platinum did so I googled and I found that at the end of each Club Nintendo year which goes from July 1 to June 30 (I assume the June 30 would be the year after July 1) you get rewards shipped to you (either gold or platinum rewards). I read they are shipped before December 31 which confuses me because I redeemed all my codes and got over 600 points, but the Club Nintendo year ends in a few months.. Will my platinum status be reset or will I be able to get the Platinum reward for last year or this year? I really hope I didn't just waste my points..

Ok so I missed out on the offer I think due to my Xbox being broke at the time... It's not in the marketplace anymore so my question is will it return for next summer or ever at all?

I seriously am not going to play MineCraft on Xbox ever again if I can't get this. These kind of things REALLY irritate me knowing that I don't have something I could have got that was free and exclusive.

Ok so I had just recieved my Limited Edition of Halo 4 today. Preorderd from EBGames.ca and I had not gotten the Retail Exclusives which are the Arctic Battle Rifle camo and Hazop's Forest armour skin. If you had done the same can you please tell me if you have got yours? Are they suppose to be emailed to you? Because I thought I was to receive a physical copy... I had emailed them because just a month ago I had the same problem with a different game but I just want to see if this is another hiccup or they are being emailed..

Ok when I was younger, how I understood it is that 20/20 vision was a fraction meaning perfect (or average) eye sight. But I then discover it's for nearsightedness and farsightedness; so 20/25 would be average vision for one of the 2 (near or farsighted) and improved by 5 in the other (near of farsighted, I can't remember which number is for which).

Now today I read more about and find out it is a fraction for your eye sight...? I'm really confused, if it was for nearsighted and farsighted it would make a lot more sense to me and if it was a fraction then why not call it 1/1 vision, I mean just round it down?

Ok so I've had my Xbox since around December 2006 I believe it was, and I had gotten the red ring once while in warranty so I got it fixed (or replaced possibly) for free but now a few years later I have it again. It is 3 red rings meaning it has the general hardware failure (same one I had the first time). I want to know if this could possibly be due to dust buildup? I have had it adequately free of dust for awhile but we had some renovations done and a bunch of junk that was in a closet was moved to around my Xbox (not actually physically laying on it or anything) and most likely spread the dust to it. I was playing Minecraft one night on it, worked fine and the next morning it gave me 3 red rings.

I also have tried using a different AV cable and power supply; no luck. I also don't have much intention of buying another Xbox either.. Any advice much appreciated. 5 stars for answer with most help.

Ok so I have an HP Pavilion G6 laptop, it has the function (fn) key but the keyboard lacks a numlock, scroll lock and the number pad. The fn key is white like other keys and there are blue letters but no blue number letters are evident under any key. I want to be able to type alt codes with this keyboard, I do not want to use the on screen keyboard. Can anyone tell me how or if it is even possible using the physical keyboard?

My laptop is an HP Pavilion G6 and it only disconnects on my connection but no where else. My mom has a mini Acer laptop with windows 7 (32-Bit) which connects and stays connected without any problems. My problem is that it keeps giving me limited connectivity and I have to either disconnect, reconnect or troubleshoot the connection which tells me the default gateway was not available and labels the problem as 'Fixed'. This happens every 10 minutes and my laptop is set to obtain the default gateway automatically, not set to static.

My router is a TRENDnet TEW-652BRP. I sometimes have problems with my iPod and Wii connection which usually leads me to disconnect from the network and reconnect but not nearly as often as I do with my laptop.

Also no, the problem is not that I am too far away, It isn't that far and I've even tried getting closer and my laptop has a great connection range sometimes being able to show 2 of my neighbours connections at 1 bar. I am soon going to have to try a wired connection and see if that helps. My laptop connects fine at my cousin's house.

Also it's possible that Windows update made this problem; I got my laptop new about a week ago and this problem started a day or two after, which was probably after the first software update because it is set to download and install Important updates automatically. Also sending the laptop back for a refund is't an option but if it's a hardware problem then I will get it replaced under warranty.

Off topic: All my questions end up being really long :/ sorry and thanks for staying with me if you're still reading up to this point, I really need help with this; I want to connect without any problems in my own home!

Ok my computer has been crashing for awhile now. It has come and go, crashes almost non-stop and then for a while it stopped for about (1 month or less maybe?)

The computer specs are:

Windows 7 Premium 64-bit

Pentium Dual-Core CPU

4GB Ram

NVIDIA GeForce GT 220

The computer has been reset from the last saved image to make sure no viruses are causing any problems (now my last question people seem to take me as an idiot and think that there could be a virus on the image, THERE ARE NO VIRUSES)

This problem started around 2 months ago, I opened up my computer and saw the CPU fan was not spinning due to the amount of dust. The Computer takes ages to wake up from sleep/hibernate and it does not sleep correctly, It used to look like it was shut off but now all the lights stay on after being put into sleep/hibernate mode.

I have thought that the only problem is the CPU fan but can anyone confirm this is the only problem? I'm getting a new one soon, will it be fixed? In the CMOS it states it is running at 21° C so that seems normal, it crashes sometimes and instantly is already rebooting up which I don't understand at all, other times it just completely turns off. All I really need to know is will this all stop with a new CPU fan? (I don't need help on how to install the fan, people keep telling me things I already know in my questions :\ )

My computer randomly shuts itself off. It sometimes has problems starting up and shuts down and even shuts down again after I turn it on after 2 seconds, then it works (for a while).

When I opened up the side the heat sink was filled with dust and wasn't spinning, I've cleaned it with compressed air and it spins but after a while of using it, it started making a very high pitched sound (constantly). The computer date sets it back in the past after it crashes to 2002 or now it just does 1/1/2009.

My parents are getting a new heat sink, so will this fix all the problems I'm having?

No viruses either. I restarted from the latest saved image for my computer to assure that no viruses were causing it.

I just restored it from backup and it still has passcode that I changed but it doesn't work this is stupid wtf!!!!!!!!!! I am POSITIVE I enter my new passcode correctly and it doesn't work. I NEED A LINK FOR A DOWNLOAD FOR A PASSCODE REMOVER! it does NOT unlock when I conenct it to home computer. DO NOT COMMENT SAYING TO RESTORE TO FACTORY SETTINGS. I NEED HELP I'M LOCKED OUT OF MY OWN IPOD IVE RESTORED FROM BACKUP BUT THE PASSCODE IS STILL THERE?

Ok so my ipod touch is 2g and jailbroken and today I changed my passcode and I'm POSITIVE, ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE! that I entered my new one correctly and I accidently clicked the *4 digit passcode* button but I cancelled that and after that I locked my ipod to try it and now it wont unlock???????!! I've tried my very first passcode lock (four numbers), my latest passcode lock, and the new one I set and it just wont unlock???

(Also some things under the *General* category in settings haven't seemed to be working like location servives would not turn on or I could not change the auto lock time)

I also REFUSE to restore I will not do this I have way too much too lose even though I've backed up before.

Is there a program that can remove my passcode??

ok im sick of having to log in to youtube by typing out emails.. i've noticed my cousin who makes a lot of new accounts doesn't have to use his gmail to log in but just his username and on some accounts I can too... How do you do this I want to change it so I never have to type in my gmail account again to sign in.

i preordered the legendary edition from gamestop awhile back and its been 3 days since release and still no game.. its standard shipping and i live in ontario and i think its going to PO box.

will i get a notice from post office telling me they have it there? and when will i get my game and does all the exclusive codes i should get (flaming helmet, recon helmet, multi-thread chest) all come with the game or in email?
