  • Dreamed of having a heart attack or did I actually have one?

About two out of three nights I dreamed of having a heart attack and it felt real. Felt like my chest was tightening up, heart was racing and I could barley breathe. When I woke up I felt ok. I wasn’t sweating. I wasn’t sore or anything. So could of it just been a dream or real? Lately been having dreams of fighting and having my heart racing as well. What causes that? I am 30. I am not in the best shape but I do cardio every single day. I do suffer from PVCs which is a type of arrhythmia but I take meds for it and my cardiologist says it’s benign. Last time I did tests for my heart was back in October/November 2020 and all the tests came back fine due to my almost passing out at work. (Ct scan of heart, countless ekgs, and echocardiogram) earlier that year as well i did a nuclear stress test and that came back fine. So could these dreams just be dreams? Or actually heart racing? Or even heart attacks?

  • Could a normal blood test show diabetes?

Recently I took a normal blood work test that showed your basic stuff. On there it had my hemoglobin a1c which was in normal range. All my blood work came back fine. And my doctor says I don’t have diabetes due to this normal routine blood test. But can it show diabetes in that test?

  • What can a ekg, ct scan of heart and echocardiogram determine?

I went to the hospital about four months ago due to me having almost passed out at work. They did blood work and found my troponin level was very slightly elevated which is cause for concern no matter what and which at the time before any other tests, the dr who did the test, indicated it could of been signs of early heart failure. Which that dr told me. So my Cardiologist came to the hospital and did more tests. Ct scan of my heart, echocardiogram, and many ekgs throughout the night. (Stayed overnight) Which all of them came back perfectly  fine. The blood troponin level went back to normal as well. So my question is can these tests determine heart failure? Or enlarged heart? What else can they determine? Specifically the ekg. What can that mainly determine. I do have pvcs I take medicine For. But my biggest fear at the moment recently is heaving heart failure or I had dreamed of having a heart attack that seemed so real in my sleep. But I didn’t wake up sweeting or sore.i do drink a lot. I have good blood pressure. I still take my meds for my pvcs but something just feels off. Could be anxiety? could of that just been a dream? Or a real heart attack in my sleep? How fast can heart failure develop? Thank you for reading my long question. Last time I saw my cardiologist was a couple days before Christmas. And normal check up is a ekg and blood pressure and that was all fine.

  • Do I have diabetes or something else? ?

Lately I have been getting hungrier even after I eat. I have been more fatigued but that may be due to my really bad sleeping schedule. I have also been getting warm sensations in my feet and thigh areas. When I pee it’s usually a light yellow to clear ish even when I don’t drink water. I’m not feeling thirsty. Just hungrier.  My legs feet or ankle is not swollen. I do drink a lot of alcohol. I took a blood test just awaiting results but figured I’d ask. I mentioned the warm sensations to my dr but she directly asked if my legs were swollen and they are not.

  • Having blankets pulled off while sleeping?

Hello I was wondering if anyone has had experience with dreaming/feeling as if your blankets are being pulled off of you while sleeping? I have had this very much often now a days. Sometimes I feel like I’m fighting someone for my covers sometimes as well. And when I fully wake up I’m in my normal sleeping position with my covers on top of me as when I fell asleep. Weird but just wondering. Been freaking me out lately more so. Could it be sleep paralysis? Or something else? Thank you :)

  • Dreams of blankets being pulled down?

So lately I have been having dreams of my blankets being pulled down. Like someone is dragging them or tugging them down towards my feet like off my bed. And sometimes i feel myself fighting with the blanket to cover me back up. Yet when I wake up my blankets are right where they were on me. Like they haven’t moved. But these pulling a feel real! Recently had a dream of the blanket being fully pulled off me while that was happening i was fighting to get blanket back. Like I’m playing tug of war with someone. And they ended up taking the blanket and i feel myself saying just take it and then i see it go under my bed. Then i woke up and I’m in my normal sleeping position with the blanket on me. But anyways it feels so real when it happens. Anyways I was wondering if anyone has dealt with this or has anyone have any idea what it could be? Sleep paralysis? Spirits?  I’ve been trying to read up on it but i keep getting different answers. It’s kind of freaking me out nor on a daily basis due to the fact it happens a lot now. Thanks for reading :)

  • Left arm pain aches/discomforts?

For the past week I’ve been having aches and discomforts in my upper left arm and under my left chest area. I have had these before but not I believe not as long. I want to know if anyone has any idea to what it could be? I have my cardiologist appointment Tuesday so I can see if it’s heart related or not. But most likely he will tell me no since i have had a nuclear stress test done before. But my recovery heart rate when I work out is fine, my blood pressure is good, my resting heart rate is great. when I work out nothing hurts. So I’m just seeing what else it could possibly be. Maybe a sprain or nerve damage or anything? I’m 29 so trying to figure out what’s up. Thanks you all :)

  • Burning in chest for over a week?

This past week and a half I have had a burning sensation and dull ache in my chest when I am just sitting or when I’m doing cardio exercise. I’ve never had this pain before. I had a cardiologist run tests on me a year ago and the nuclear stress test and echo and ekg came out fine. So now I’m freaking out but I just visited my cardiologist yesterday and much ekg, blood pressure, heart rate is fine and he says since I had the tests last year he thinks I’m fine as we’ll Any ideas to what this can be caused by? Any other doctors I should see besides a cardiologist?

  • Heart PVCs are back!? Help please?

So I have been having PVCs for a while and started taking Verapamil, a calcium blocker which controlled the PVCs. I take 200 mg and usually the PVCs come and go but don’t go away completely. So one night of drinking I come home and eat Oreos and drink almond milk. About 30 min later the PVCs are back. They are coming way more than they use to. What cause this hurts of PVCs to come back randomly? They have not gone away since they came back. It’s frustrating cause they never use to be this way now they just come back. Any ideas to what it could be? I know my cardiologist may recommend taking 300 mg of verapamil now. But still just frustrated.

  • Weak heart?

What would some symptoms of a weak heart be? Would someone tired all the time or would they be able to do anything physical?

  • Heart issues?

Ive been having chest pains and discomforts for months now. I’ve had a nuclear stress test done which came back fine yet I still have these pains and discomforts. What could it be? Would a nuclear stress test determine blockage in heart or see if the heart is in trouble?

  • Heart problems? Or something else?

So I have been having chest issues for the past 6 or 7 months. I have had so many ekgs and so many blood work. I have had a echocardiogram and a nuclear stress test. Everything comes back fine except my cholesterol which is a tad high. So my cardiologist does not think it’s heart related due to the tests that come back fine. What else could it be? The chest pain is not really pain just discomfort and sometimes sharp like pain that only last for a few seconds then leaves. It’s throughout the day. Any idea to what it could be? Or any advice?

  • Heart pvcs after exercise!?

I am 27. I have been checked yo with my cardiologist so many times. I have had a ekg, echocardiogram, and nuclear stress test. Also blood work. Only thing that came back was I have a bit of high cholesterol but nothing crazy. My cardiologist says my heart is fine. I just have frequent pvcs. They are random when I get them. Usually I will wake up one day and get them or when I’m just sitting I will feel them. They last from a couple hours to a whole week. Just depends. But Now they come after exercise more. My question is are pvcs after exercise common in people who have pvcs? My doctor tells me not to worry as for my pvcs are benign. Yet I just feel worried. Any input would be appreciated.

  • Eating before cholesterol test?

If you eat, between the recommended hour for fasting, for a cholesterol test would that rise the HDL,LDL, total cholesterol, and triglycerides? Or what would be lower? What would be higher? What would stay accurate?

  • High triglycerides, LDL cholesterol, and normal blood pressure?!?

Hello. I am 27. I have normal blood pressure but took a blood test and only thing that came back was high triglycerides of 315 and LDL of 103. Now according to what I have been reading triglycerides is not good that high it’s way to high. But my LDL is normal according to my age range. What doesn’t this mean? How can someone have normal blood pressure and still have high triglycerides and cholesterol? Also what can I do to lower triglycerides? I workout almost everyday but I do eat bad stuff on the weekends when I drink.

  • LDL cholesterol and triglycerides!?

I am 27. I workout almost every single day except days I’m hungover and eat horrible foods. Now I have LDL level of 103. And triglyceride level is high of 315. Now I have been reading and due to my age my LDL seems to be about normal range but my triglycerides is what worries me cause it’s so high. How do I lower that? Also what does it mean?
