Drawing with the mouse sucks. Using my wacom pad is even worst. Is there any sensitivity settings I can change to make drawing lines more steadier? Im not super knowledgeable about the program, so if you can please guide me through like im 6 years old to where I could possibly correct this problem, I'd greatly appreciate it. Many thanks in advance.

  • What does teeth falling out mean in your dreams?

I get this every once in a while. I've even seen this portrayed in a movie, and figured it something that is subconsciously shared. At first it was very disturbing, but now Im like 'whatever better learn to live with it', in the dream. I do smoke and consume a lot of sugar, but still get complements on how great my teeth look. Can anyone else relate or tell me what this means?

    Thanks in advance

  • Atheist/anti-religious, when did religion become to mean Christianity?

Not all atheist make the mistake of using the two interchangeably, but it is a common and frequent mistake. I presume that this is not intended, just wondering if any atheist are aware of it. I don't want to believe that atheist generalize religion with the Christian denomination they were raised around, but can help to think that. I think a lot of atheist are very smart and intelligent and claim to rely on ration. But is it rational to generalize every religion together as if they are all the same. I mean unless you have been a member of all religions read their religious texts and practice it tenants, how much do you really know about other religions.

Thanks for you answers in advanced.

  • Which Philosophors would agree with this philosophy?

Put your needs before others, but put others needs before your wants. And respect and rationalize which wants serve the highest good.

Or what do you think? What are any limitations in this belief or how might it advance mankind if adhered to as a common practice?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Celtics or Pistons?

    Tonight?

    For the series?

    Why?

    How many Games?

Celtics, tonight. Pistons got the series in six. Pistons are hungry. They're deeper. They've been there. Been there and lost and got a bad taste in there mouth. Celtics have been stuck in coast mode. They'll have close home games and get blown out on the road.

  • How is it possible that evolution is not inherent to creation?

Even as a child before I could understand the debate over creation vs. evolution, there seemed to be an awareness that they are one in the same.

It seems as if on position denies the other just so that there is something to argue about, rather than finding out how they work together. I see no evidence solely supporting either creation or evolution.

When seen separately the limitations of each are obvious. But together no such limits seem to exist. So can any one give a limitation of this concept that would explain both as the source of what we come to know as the universe?

  • Do senior citezen care about the rest of society?

I believe that they love their families, but what of the rest of the population? I am 25 and don't think that society respects and treats our wise and experienced, how they would like to be treated when they become elderly.

I saw a documentary about a college student spending a month in a nursing home and befreinds the people there.

  • Is this a bad depiction of God?

Please read entire description before commenting.

The following statements can be found in Dr. Hawkins' third book in

    the trilogy *I /Reality &

Subjectivity* , Chapter 10 - entitled "The Nature of God".

    1. God is both manifest as the Totality and Allness of Creation and

simultaneously unmanifest as the Godhead, the Infinite Potentiality

and source or 'voidness' prior to form.

    2. God is infinite beyond time or depictions of space or locality,

    without beginning or end.

    3. God is omnipresent, omnipotent, and omniscient.

    4. God is the source and substrate of consciousness, awareness,

    knowingness, and sentience.

    5. God is the sole source of the energy of life.

    6. God is the source of evolution and Creation, which are one and

    the same.

    7. God is the source and presence of peace, love, stillness, and

    beauty.

    8. God is beyond all universes and materiality, yet is the source of

    All That Is.

    9. God is the sole source of existence and the potentiality of

    beingness.

    10. God is the ultimate context of which the universe and all

    existence is the content.

    11. God is the a priori formless source of existance within all form.

    12. God is not within the province of the provable or the intellect.

    13. God is the source and essence of the subjective state of "I-

    ness" called Enlightenment.

    14. God is the radical subjectivity of Self-realization.

    15. God is descriptively immanent and transcendent.

    16. The human experience of the Presence of God is the same in all

ages, all cultures, and all localities.

    17. The effect on human consciousness of the experience of the

Presence of God is subjectively transformative and identical

throughout human history. It leaves a timeless mark that is

verifiable as a calibration of a recorded level of consciousness.

    18. The essence of God does not include human frailties, such as

partiality, the desire to control, favoratism, duality,

judgementalism, wrath, righteous anger, resentment, limitation,

arbitrariness, vanity, revenge, jealousy, retaliation, vunerability,

    or locality.

    19. The variabilities of the depictions of Divinity reflect the

variabilities of human perception and the projections of the

impediments of the ego and its positionalities.

    20. The purity of the Presence of God is traditionally the essence

of the ineffable quality of holiness and is the basis for the

depictive term "sacred". That which is devoid of content is the

    equivalent of Innocence.

    21. When the obstacles of human mentation, emotionality, and the

ego's structures from which they are derived are transcended, the

Self as God Immanent shines forth of its own accord, just as the sun

shines forth when the clouds are removed.

    22. God is the context and source of the karmic unity of all

Creation, beyond all perceptual descriptions or limitations, such as

    time or space.

    23. Truth is verifiable only by identity with it and not by knowing

    about it.

  • What about ethnic Christians?

I noticed that when ethnic people give praise to God, especially in the entertainment world, the politically correct, secular progressives give them a pass.

I am black, and feel proud when anyone praises God or Jesus, but it seems to me white people take fire for mentioning faith in any public way.

Athletes and entertainers often thank God or attribute success to God. Our Hispanic population seems to be overwhelmingly faithful, but I see only whites taking heat for proclaim their faith. If Obama becomes president and says, "I believe God made me president," would he take as much back lash as Bush?

The PC stuff is creating reverse racism and hate, and I feel white people have much obstruction in life as anyone else in this country, especially Christians.

Does anyone else feel the same way?

  • Barack for Jesus?

Do you think If Sen. Obama would mention God or his faith more in his campaign, like Gov. Huckabee, would he be as well like as he is now.

What do you think? Why or Why not?

  • Einstein's Faith?

Walter Isaacson wrote a great biography on the life of Einstein and mentions that he disproved a provable God detectable by instruments and physical sense, but accepts a God that is expressed as the totality of the universe (which is omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent) and not the out of date "Zues" depiction.

If Atheism is based on logic, what are your feelings or thoughts of one of histories most logical person believe in a higher power?
