Just wondering..the couple of vegans I know would be insulted questioning this so I just want to put it out there with no insult intended.

My daughter is going to college soon and I am wondering if a notebook or laptop would be better for her or if there is actually a big difference. Please put this in layman's terms as I am not great with understanding a lot of computer terms. I am just wondering which might be better in terms of school work..she has a phone that she uses for facebook and whatnot, so this is not important for her computer use. I was just looking around and thought the size of the notebook might be more convenient, but not sure if this is enough memory wise or if you can go on the internet for research with it or not. Like I said, I really do not know much about computers, so please be kind with your answers. Any info is greatly appreciated. (I just wanted to surprise her with this, so do not want to ask her).

my 17 year old daughter is going off to college next year and she is in need of a new laptop. as the moment she has a dell inspiron 1520. it has definitely done well for the 3 years that she has had it. she is looking for a better one to take to college. she is going to college to be a vet tech and to be a vet assistant. so there will be some things she will have to do in the business aspect (not much, but a little bit). what would you recommend her to get?

is there a way to shop and buy online, if you in canada? i went to the old navy canadian website and there is no shopping what so ever on it. its crap. the american website is where i can find and shop for stuff, but i have to have an account. i tried to make an account, but i need a zip code. because i live in canada, i dont have a zip code. how can i purchase my items?!
