Will oil boil over the top in a deep fryer?
4 AnswersCooking & Recipes6 years agoRefinanced - Will I get part of my November payment back from old Mortage Co.?
We are refinancing our mortage. I paid my mortage payment due November 1 to the old company. We close on the new mortgage on the 12th of November. They said they will have the old company paid off by the 20th. Shouldn't I be getting at least 10 days of November's payment back from the old mortgage company? Would be nice to know in advance.
6 AnswersCredit8 years agoCan I deduct rent and other expenses when I live with my son.?
I will be renting a room in my son's condo. I will be operating a freight brokering business from there. Can I deduct any rent or other expenses since I am only renting one room? I know normally your business space must be a percentage of a whole house or apartment.
3 AnswersUnited States8 years agoBiscoff Spread shelf life and date on jar.?
Just discovered Biscoff Spread. It is AWESOME!!!!! The jar I have has a date of 20 MAR 13. Would that be a "use by" date or "best by" date? I got mine from the clearance cart at Walmart and want to go get a bunch more. Their website says it has a long shelf life, but what I want to know is will unopened jars be safe to eat after the date on the jar? I have sent an inquiry to the company but haven't heard back yet and I want to buy tomorrow before they are all gone. It looks like peanut butter, but has NO nuts in it. Sweet and great on bread or crackers. Made from their cookies.

1 AnswerWomen's Health9 years agoHow can i find out who the "concerned friend" was that called the police?
A "concerned friend" called the police to do a welfare check on my wife because we'd been arguing. My wife was just fine and we don't appreciate this and we want to eliminate this person from our lives. Is there ANY way to find out who called or what number it was called in from? Probably not, but I'm hoping there is a way. Thanks for any and all help.

When a town, such as Greensburg, Kansas, is totally destroyed by a tornado, you never see photos with the bank vault standing there amid the rubble. Just wondering if anyone has seen a vault after a bank was destroyed.

Is there anyone one here from Minnesota who can recommend a decent relatively inexpensive family medical insurance plan? 2 adults and 3 children. 2 AnswersInsurance1 decade agoWindows VISTA "computer" folder doesn't open normally?
I use VISTA. Usually, when I click on the logo button on the lower left, and then go over to the right and click on "computer" the window quickly comes up showing all my various drives and I can click on one to see what is there. NOW I click on "computer" and a window comes up with a bar similar to the address bar, and it slowly fills with green and another window eventually comes up with the normal list of drives, etc. When I select one of those...ie "E" which is my CD/DVD-R drive, the same thing happens....long wait while the bar at the top fills in. What is going on? How do I fix this?

6 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoSuggest a camera for me...Does anyone here use a Panasonic Lumix DMC-fh20 digital camera?
I need a digital camera that takes good close up photos of coins, as well as the usual photos. I am "electronically challenged" so to speak, lol. I would prefer one with both internal and card storage capabilities, VISTA compatible software, wide angle and decent optical zoom. I'm thinking about the Panasonic Lumix DMC-fh20. Anyone have experience and opinions on this camera? I can't spend a whole lot.
1 AnswerCameras1 decade agohepatic cyst on kidney?
Hubby just found out a CT scan shows he has a hepatic cyst on his kidney, and something called "scattered inguinal lymph nodes". Can't get hold of his doctor until next Monday. He has an ultrasound scheduled in 2 weeks. We are both basket cases. Can anyone shed any light on this? All I can find is info on hepatic cysts on the liver. Are these usually signs of cancer in the kidney? He is diabetic, therefore a prime candidate for kidney problems related to diabetes. Please, someone who KNOWS what they are talking about. I'm about a millimeter away from a major panic attack and won't make it until we get the ultrasound results mid July unless I have more info on this. Please help!!!!!
12 AnswersOther - Diseases1 decade agoWhere can I call to find out where my husband's VA medical travel pay check is?
My husband travels 120 miles 3 times a week to a medical appointment and VA pays him travel pay for it. He has submitted travel pay requests, which are first processed through the Fargo VA and then go someplace for the check to be issued. At first, it was taking less than 1 month from submission to VA to get a check. He submits a reimbursement request each week. He has received no checks to cover weeks from mid March onward. Travel in Fargo can only tell me that they processed them. Is there a place I can call in the Treasury Department or ??? to find out where his checks are? Driving this many miles every week adds up, and weI really need these checks! Anyone have any ideas???
