  • vacation suggestions?

ok, i usually plan our vacations about 1 year in advanced, cant afford to pay up front and we are nearly debt free (meaning no credit cards to charge) . I have 2 kids next year they will be 10 and 11 . However my husband and i are tired of disney world, or any amusement park type trip.. do you have any suggestions, BUT we also need to make deposits and then payments, I saw an ad for Alaskan cruise , 200.00 deposit per person and pay on it for a year,. but that was kinda pricey , about 3k a person.

  • Eviction question process? how long? when do they file?

Just wondering how long does an eviction process take? I live in Texas?

I had surgery in May, out of work for 2 months, went back to work only to find out the place was closing. unable to find full time work.

At this point i know my managers are getting tired of me. ( hubby and i share a car, no cell phones, i have to have internet for work - they pay for it and home phone) complex pays for cable.. we have no credit cards, so there is really nothing we can cut down on.. we dont eat out, have nothing of value to really sell, no new clothes, etc.

our rent is just way more than we can afford. however, with us living paycheck to paycheck were not saving, constantly paying rent late (usually about a week or 2 before rent is due again)

    late fees are killing us..

so i was thinking, if we didnt pay this month, which we wouldnt be able to pay until next friday anyway we can just move to something cheaper..

i have spoken with the managers a few times, with us having kids/dogs and no playground, or dog park its hard. we know its 800 to break our lease.. i just want to get ahead, and stop paying late..

so, if they filed , how long until we have to move out by? or latest date property managers usually file?

  • health/retirement/surgery?

My moms husband (62) just had his prostate removed about 2 months due to surgery. He missed work for about 7 weeks.

Now they found out he has cancer in his liver, did a biopsy , doctors say surgery/chemo is not an option. he is not a smoker/drinker.

They are meeting this week with a surgeon in San Antonio texas, the only option is a liver transplant. he will be one of the ones at the top of the list. but it still could be 8 months or so.

So, recovery time is usually 9 months-ish.

he was thinking of taking early retirement. After doing a little research his retirement would only be about 600.00

Would he qualify for any benefits? social security? disability?

Since,I am not sure what I am looking for, its hard to look online. They were just thinking if they can find something during those 9 months of recovery he can work another 3 years and get full retirement

  • can a dealership charge off a car that has yet to be repo?

Time are hard for everyone. I did get behind on my Toyota. I was still making smaller payments, However when I got my credit report it shows the car was charged off in April.

Can they do that? I thought I read somewhere they have to have the car first before they can charge it off
