  • What is up with all the disparaging questions regarding Canada?

    I, for one am getting pretty tired of all the questions being asked that are insulting to Canadians. It is surprising just how much hatred there is towards Canada by Citizens of other Countries. Is there a reason for this? Or is it just for attention?

    Maybe they are lacking something in their lives that needs to be addressed?

    I just finished taking down my Valentine's decorations and now I am thinking I should put up the Easter stuff, but my friends think I am crazy and they say it is way too early. SO I am just wondering what other people have to say about it.

    And yes I do decorate for all the holidays.

  • What do you do with your 17 to 18 mos old child?

    In regards to playtime, teaching etc. Do you spend as much time teaching them or do you let them do independent play? I have a 17 mos old girl and I am running out of new things to do with her, we read our books, colour, draw, and we play, we learn new things, we go to the park and on walks and to the library, lately we have started some crafts, but I am running out ideas.

    What do most other parents do with their toddlers?
