Why am i suddenly getting vivid dreams?

I have never been much of a dreamer, before this I only maybe had a few dreams a year that i could actually remember. However the last few weeks ive been having the weirdest, most vivid dreams that actually feel like real life, every night.  Sometimes 2 or 3 different dreams in one night. I wake up and remember almost every detail. Nothing has changed, no drugs or stress or changes in my sleep schedule so i really dont know what could be causing this. Im mainly just intrigued.
