Why are background checks for guns more comprehensive than for immigration? Haven’t illegals obtained guns and murdered Americans? ?
I agree that known dangerous mental illness should not possess firearms. Why EXISTING laws are not enforced is beyond me. My concern is why background checks of illegal immigrants are far less stringent than gun laws when statistics clearly show significant numbers of murderers and violent criminals have been and are being released into American society? Why are murders of Americans by illegal immigrants constantly swept under the rug in the media?
Aren't most criminal murders committed with illegally obtained firearms?

I got a shotgun and it took me all but 10min from the time I entered the store to the time I walked out with my new shotgun....background checks are not that comprehensive...not at all in fact......Of I were to buy a handgun, all I would deal with that’s different is a 7 day cool down periods from purchase to the time I bring it home
Oh and did I mention I live in a LIBERAL STATE......WHY ARE YOU LYING ....Or have you just never bought a gun and wouldn’t know any better not to say some stupid sh- like this that background checks are more comprehensive for guns then for immigrants
