Yahoo Answers is shutting down on May 4th, 2021 (Eastern Time) and the Yahoo Answers website is now in read-only mode. There will be no changes to other Yahoo properties or services, or your Yahoo account. You can find more information about the Yahoo Answers shutdown and how to download your data on this help page.

How do you feel about the fact that Yahoo answers is closing?

I would like to know how users feel about the fact that after 15 years this site will no longer exist.

Thank you for the replies.

I feel heartbroken. It's like losing a family member to death.

The trolls ruined it, now they are going to try to hit the other sites, but they aren't as weak as Yahoo.

Happy happy joy joy. It couldn’t come soon enough.

Those lazy *** incompetent yahoo workers turned a fun site into a shithole.

There was nothing wrong with the green format but those idiots messed with it.

Purple v. 1.0 was acceptable. V 2.0 is what killed answers. V 2.0 is like the new coke. V 2.0 is just terrible. There’s no desktop version on mobile devices.

The search function is a joke. The green version did a great job searching for a specific question.

Back then, there was a zero tolerance for trolls. Now it’s 100% tolerance.

Community mod was the greatest thing and these numbskulls took it away.
