Has it all been worthwhile?

It was good. Don't what I will do now.

it takes my mind of thinking about bad things 

overall yes ..i have built in various countries around the world ..so know how different a house is constructed in say the uk ..where i live ..and most of europe as well as america and canada ..my family are in the car game ..`we own a garage .and have travelled quite a bit ..passing on any tips and quirks i learnt has given me a lot of pleasure ...but this site has been ruined by trolls ..and trump supporters ...sad ending ..i will miss all the genuine people 

I've spent 6 hours figuring out an answer to someone's question before only to have my account and all the associated answers deleted, all because of a stupid spat in this section.  Even though I will miss this website I will have to get over it.

I would hope that I've been of some help to students asking questions, and to travelers. But much of Y/A has now been taken over by trolls and people who have nothing better to do than provoke people for the fun of it. It's a shame that students will be losing this resource. 

On a very few times (And I mean very few) I've actually learnt something.

Although in the past couple of year's the Australian travel page decended to talk back radio standards.
