What do you think of many people just wearing sweatpants or even PJ bottoms out in public all of the time?

If you aren't committing indecent exposure then it technically won't get you arrested by the police. But it does look stupid though, you might get some funny looks. If you enter a shop in your pyjamas the shop keeper won't be very enthusiastic to serve you

I would rather wear nice jeans or dress pants when meeting with other people.  PJ bottoms shouldn't be worn in public unless there is a fire in your home or you are homeless.  

That was not allowed in my childhood so I have grown up never even contemplating doing so.  I only ever stay in night clothes if I'm ill, and when I'm ill I don't go out amongst the public.

You're asking in the wrong section mate,  these in polls hardly ever leave their home never mind get dressed.

Beautiful Russian and Ukrainian women wouldn't be caught dead wearing sweatpants or PJ bottoms in public. They make a great deal of effort to look their best when going out, even if it's just to get the mail. 

Never.  I put jeans on away from home at my most casual.
