Why are so many houses being abandon?
It seems when a family decides to move and sell their home some body else would buy it.

Usually they get abandoned because the family can't pay the mortgage/ taxes or other debts attached to the house. In some cases they could have sold it if they'd started the process sooner but they waited to long and the foreclosure forced them to abandon it instead.
