Yes it is. They forgot to pay the electric bill.

Never been on a cruise but I’ve been on the local ferry at night to and from the mainland in the dark and yes it’s scary at times especially if the sea is rough but I never think about the negatives while out at sea.

Yes it is very dark out there.

My first cruise, we had a rear-facing balcony, and were amazed at how dark it was away from shore--and how brilliant the stars were because of it. The water looked like an opaque liquid, maybe black ink. I think we had a sliver of moon, but not much.

It depends on the moon.
