Did you ever go to a school dance and stand against the wall the whole time ?

Dressed like this how long do you think I would be standing by myself against the wall

Yes in Junior high.....sometimes in GYM class, they would try to make the boys dance with the girls.  

It was at that age when girls still mostly had cooties-  The girls would be cowering all along one wall. .....petrified that some boy would actually ask them to dance, and make fools out of them , in front of all their friends. 

If a guy did screw up the courage, to leave the boys wall , ......the girls would scattter if he came in their direction-  

I remember they tried it a few times,  but not with any success and then just gave up. 

These days,  Jesus.......they'd probably hook up and have sex behind the bleachers 

I never went to school dances hun.

Tick tock - tick tock - tick tock... less than 76 hours before it's lights out and your emotional umbilical cord is cut. lol

Even worse - I went with a girl who really didn't want to be there with me ..... she just wanted someone to take her to the prom.  What a long night that was!

I never stood against the wall the whole time but I have stood against the wall...🌺
