    mass m = F/a = 12/1.2 = 10 kg

    F=ma  ((this is a formulae you should memorize))

    Divide both sides by a: m = F/a

    m = 12/1.2

    m = 6.0 kg to 2 sigfigs

    F = ma

    12 = (1.2)(m)

    Solve for m. Don’t you people memorize commonly used equations. 

    p = mv
