They are allowed.  It's  just that most either don't want it, or don't legitimately make it to the top, just like most men don't.

Jordan Peterson explains it very well.  Those high powered, driven people (mostly men) who compete  like crazy to keep other men out of the top positions aren't just gone to suddenly roll over because feminist suddenly expect women to take their positions.  It doesn't work that way.  But when women are treated equally harshly to men by the top men, feminists have the gall to call that "sexist" rather than equality.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eieVE-xFXuostarts at 3:20

I would rather be a Jackie Kennedy than a Hilary Clinton.

I’d happily be a lady of leisure and support my husband than be a working woman who has to overcome all the obstacles a woman would have to face in a man’s world.

I’m a woman in a woman’s world. One husband, nice clothes, and minding my own business. 🥂

Nearly EVERY country has a 'glass ceiling'.  In some countries - women aren't even allowed to work outside of the home.

In Australia we have many women in all these positions.  Certainly not 50% but growing rapidly.  I am sure you will find the rate of change in the USA to be quite substantial.  There is no glass ceiling.  There is only tradition.  And traditions break down over time.

Women are allowed to be all of the above.  About 8% of all Fortune 500 companies are run by women.  There are 359,409 female physicians.  About 37.4% of lawyers are women.  There are 87 females in the US legislature.

They are allowed to become all those. Why are you lying?

There is no glass ceiling. There is a lack of desire among women to do the reprehensible things necessary to rise above a certain level.

People who say there is no such thing as glass ceilings  or systematic racism are idiots.   It takes many many generations  to change the system and minds of people.  If you have that much of high hopes for people then we would have global peace already.  Most leaders of whom are MEN..

"Why is there a glass ceiling in the U.S.?"

There is no "glass ceiling", and in fact, many women are CEO's, doctors, lawyers, politicians and in other top positions here in the US, and much of the rest of the world too.  What we have, is a CLASS ceiling where the disenfranchised, the homeless and underprivileged do not exist at all in any of those top positions.  It has always been this way throughout all of history too.

Furthermore, there exists a glass cellar if you will.  The glass cellar is all those hard, dirty and dangerous manual labour jobs that usually shorten a man's life.  These glass cellar jobs are dominated by men, and no women, or even feminists are interested in smashing the floor to get down here.
