I do.  You're right about both points.  Remember, though, that Jesus Christ is the prophet greater than Moses, whom we should hear in all things.

If you do not set Jesus first, above all else, you are not 'supporting' Jesus. The Torah shows its purpose; to get Jews (and all legalists) to admit before God that they are incapable of keeping God's perfect law perfectly; they need a Savior to redeem them from the curse of the Law. Jesus became a curse in our place, on the accursed tree at Golgotha, the sinless one who kept the Law perfectly and thus was able to bear the punishment for all sin that we should bear for our sin. But He had to be more than a sinless man, for that would only enable him to stand in the stead of one other man. He had to have the full magnitude of deity to cover all the sin of all the redeemed.

Until you grasp that, you have only a feeble, human concept of Messiah which falls far short of the immensity of who it was who left Heaven to become man. Read John's gospel and don't move on after chapter 1 till you've got that and get down on your knees in awe of just who it was who died for you, and rose again. He had to rise from the dead because He died sinless and death can only claim sinners. His resurrection proves Him to be the sinless Son of God which is an ascription of deity.

    Matthew 3:16-17

And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: [17] And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Why would Christians support you if you do not believe in one of the foundational truths of Christianity? You are no better that the Mormon and the Jehovah's Witnesses cults. If you believe Jesus is the Messiah, then you must realize that God-in-the-flesh (Immanuel) would be the only perfect sacrifice to pay for our sin and iniquity.

No one is under Mosaic Law today.  I suggest that you read the New Testament, starting with the Gospel of John. I trust that you have already read Isaiah, Chapter 53 and Psalm 22 and looked up other Old Testament prophesies.  You can google them if interested.

  • If you do not believe in the Deity of God, you are the antichrist, you will not be saved, but condemned for your unbelief!
