Why are whites obsessed with Elvis Presley ?

I'm Black and 23, and I can tell you why I love Elvis: i think he was very very handsome, he was a great dancer, his voice is soothing and fun to listen to, his songs are catchy, and I love his old fun movies like Blue Hawaii and Fun In Acapulco. 

Yes, I also know who Otis Blackwell is, and I even know that Otis had an album where he sung the songs he wrote for Elvis; Otis was a great musician and amazing songwriter. I discovered Elvis first though, then Otis, and even after finding out that Elvis was basically a cover artist, I still don't hate him
